I love a good thunderstorm. I freak out when tornadoes are involved, but a lot of lightning and thunder are fine with me.

We had a really great time on our trip to CO. My DH and I drove the 13 hours there and the 13 hours back. Surprisingly, it wasn’t bad at all. Car trips are excellent for getting back in touch, and talking about topics that aren’t typically discussed every day. And although I am much more likely to die on the road, car trips are much less stressful for me. Additionally, it is so much more worthwhile when you get to spend time with people you love and haven’t seen in a long time. I absolutely fell in love with my 6 year old cousin! I forgot what it was like to have a lot of family around. We’ve been gone 2 days and I miss all of them and their craziness already!

This week I’m in the a weird week of limbo…Just got back from visiting relatives, and I’m working as a PT nanny–little 2 year old Henry is adorable, but enough work to prevent the baby bug from attacking me. Next week life revs up as I also start my night classes on top of working. Although I cringe that I will be taking classes at the local community college, it will be nice to get these required science classes out of the way (and not pay $3000 per class at Wash U).

This is a random, disjointed post…definitely time to lay in bed and listen to the thunderstorm. 🙂
